Devastation appears on silent whim <\/em>Standing, staring, as horror strikes us cold When we glance back, our face a picture grim <\/em>Contorted by what has us in its hold<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

This day was like all others of the norm <\/em>Devastation appears on silent whim Hate quietly dispensed in wretched form <\/em>When we glance back, our face a picture grim<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

Billows of smoke shout anger in stark gray <\/em>Standing, staring, as horror strikes us cold <\/em>We suffer pain from loved ones passed away <\/em>Contorted by what has us in its hold<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

There’s sadness in the hearts of many left As we try hard to forge our way ahead<\/em> What of the villains that spent us bereft <\/em>Repeatedly we tend to bury dead<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

But in these trying times we give tribute <\/em>There’s sadness in the hearts of many left <\/em>Retaliation’s War is not my suit <\/em>What of the villains that spent us bereft<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

I pray for peace to come and settle now <\/em>As we try hard to forge our way ahead <\/em>The people of the <\/em>Earth must blend somehow <\/em>Repeatedly we tend to bury dead<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

O God of great and small please pierce our souls <\/em>To issue comfort that remakes the world I’ll watch with gladness as goodness unfolds <\/em>And<\/span> witness smiles on faces that unfur<\/span>l<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

Let’s throw away the harshness that does kill <\/em>O God of great and small please pierce our souls <\/em>And in these last days let the waters still I’ll watch with gladness as goodness unfolds<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/h2>\n

And in the end let generations stand <\/em>To issue comfort that remakes the world <\/em>Come join to make a chain of every hand <\/em>And witness smiles on faces that unfurl<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n
