\nI listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

I listened as they said he wasn’t born here.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n
\n

I saw the pictures of him as Hitler.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched as they did just that.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI listened.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI watched.<\/strong><\/em>
\nI paid <\/strong><\/em>attention.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

Now, I’m being called on to be tolerant.<\/strong><\/em>
\nTo move forward.<\/strong><\/em>
\nTo denounce protesters.<\/strong><\/em>
\nTo “Get over it.”<\/strong><\/em>
\nTo accept this…<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n
